"Bloody Computer!" Author Wins Award

Last week, Colin at Free PC Security gave me the Community Blogger Award. This prize was recently created by Cellobella at Red Sultana, to celebrate those that reach out to the wider community.

I am honoured to receive this award, because it comes from fellow bloggers, and because the ethos of the award is for winners to pass on the award to worthy recipients. As such, I am also honoured to present the award to the following three bloggers:

Etienne Teo - for good advice for bloggers wishing to monetise and develop their sites.

Mark R. Stoneman - for efforts in promoting the historian blogger community.

Shirley Gibson
- for the variety of blogs she writes, and for blogging community work.

Thank you, Kevin. I'm afraid, though, that I'm still one of those people who doesn't pass on these things. (I did the same thing for the schmooze and thinking awards, so don't feel I'm discriminating.)

No problem, Mike, the choice to pass on or not is yours.

Besides, if everyone who received it passed it on to a few other blogs, before long every blogger would have received the award.

Hi Kevin. Would you believe that I only got your post on my blog today? Gmail was calling Blogger comments spam. You'd think Google's right hand would know how to talk to its left hand. Oh well. By the way, my first name is Mark. But an easy mistake to make.

Gah! I knew your name was Mark too. I must have been thinking about Mike Stone, who designs free add-on aircraft for MS Flight Sim.

Kevin - I found in your sidebar where you referred to Mark as Mike. I had to check it out because around Nov 11 I did the same thing. I wonder if it happens to him often?

Congratulations! I come here often and took some real good advices that saved me a lot of time, but I never leave comments, I guess this is right place to say thanks, although little late :)

KID: Better late than never. Thanks for the comment.
