This tip should be of interest to all the Entrecard chain-droppers out there (you know who you are). It works in Internet Explorer (version 7 and later), Firefox, and Safari.
If you hold down the Ctrl key when you click on a link on a website the browser will open the linked page on a new tab, saving you having to right-click on the link and selecting 'Open Link in New Tab' (or 'Open in New Tab' on IE).

I never knew that one before, thanks for the great tip!
Well, I was going to say that you learn something new every day but linda beat me to it! And I really never did know that before! Is someone going to get me for duplicate content??? LOL!
Thanks for the information. It is appreciated.

OMG magic!
Great tip - thanks,

Hey, it works! Thank you so much for this tip!
That's the best tip I've had in a very long time! Thanks!
erm No chance for me to try it as once i click on Entrecard, it will automatically open link in a new tab already
Thanks you all for your comments.
vickie, clicking entrecards will open them in a new tab anyway, but if you click on then holding now Ctrl the current page stays open, like right-clicking on the link and selecting 'Open in new window' etc.
Thanks for sharing,it saves time to drop for chain droppers.
If you have a middle button, you can use that too. Well, it seems to work for me :)
a, thanks for the tip, the middle button opens the link a new tab on my mouse too.
Always a joy to learn a new trick

The Linky plugin is a good one too.
Good tip of which I'll have to remember. Just a though though for all the Power Droppers who haven't discovered PermaLinks (or something like that) but it will keep the original tab open and all links will open in another tab. Another good one (my personal fav for Power Dropping) is SnapLinks which will open up a whole list of links if you left click and highlight them all at once. Very useful!
Thanks for the time. Saving me a ton of time!!
HOW DO I VIEW ALL PAGES THAT ARE IN A LINK. FOR EXAMPLE, I HAVE A WEBSITE THAT HAS 5 COMMENTS PER PAGE. LINK 2 SHOWS THE NEXT 5 COMMENTS. LINK 3 SHOWS THE NEXT 5 COMMENTS. THE PROBLEM IS THAT i HAVE OVER 100 PAGE LINKS. LAST WEEK I TOUCHED A COMBINATION OF KEYS IN THE UPPER RIGHT CORNER OF MY KEYBOARD AND IT SHOWED ALL 300 COMMENTS ON ONE PAGE. THUS I KNOW IT CAN BE DONE. THE LINK IS
WWW.CARINGBRIDGE.ORG/VISIT/LANETTEDESANKO
Nick: You're welcome. Thanks for the comment
Danny: I assume you are referring to your guestbook. Try clicking on the "Print entire GB" link. This then opens all the comments up in one page. Don't worry it won't actually print it unless you tell it to.
Nick. No i was refering to the journal entry section.
Danny: Try "Print entire Journal" then.
By the way, my name isn't Nick. I was thanking Nick for his comment that appeared before yours.
stepterix ... THANK YOUY!!!!!
Hahahaha! This is such a time saver! Thanks :)
Thanks for the comments. It is gratifying that people are still discovering this page.
